What is Shame?

There are, like, 100 of you reading this if I understand my stats page, somehow.  I can only imagine that several of you are the part of the Matrix's fledgling central mass, but as long as there's still time before we're all hooked up to the system, why not meander your over way here for a bit:

You won't be disappointed.  Probably.  I mean, unless it's just not your genre, then I really can't help you.

The Treatise: Cathedral Fountain, East Bench

Woke up to some human practically jumping out of his.. robe?  Dress?  Dressrobe to do the deed with some old bird.  Poor lad, tossed a bucket from the fountain on him.  Actually, that's a lie, it was a helmet, but that really doesn't matter all that much, when you get right down to it.  Can't imagine he was too happy about the assorted coins and normally-located-in-a-pond muck that got dredged out with it.

Ask Creative Development and what should be taken from it

The Immediate Response
Well, I told myself I wasn't going to have two out-of-character posts in a row, Wow.joystiq already has a corner on general WoW news, but this is really just too good to ignore entirely, and there hasn't been all that much interesting int he world of benches today.  Startling, I know.

So, Bashiok, figurehead that he has become for communicating with the more-sane strata of the WoW playerbase, delivered unto us this topic, that we may know of the Creative Development team's work and, more importantly, their partial disenfranchisement of the the WoW RPG books, better known as 'The stich with which one RPer will beat the head of another RPer in with because his character's eyes are a different color than an out of date book says they can be'.  Good on you, all, by the way, you're really helping the RP community not look like a bunch of aspies in a basement, living off Cheetos and mellow yellow.

Now, for the non-RPers, what this is for the RP community is, essentially, patch notes for us.  We may not get +5% damage done with one ability that was under powered before, but good god do we get some nifty RP hooks.  Who wouldn't want to see a bunch of submerged zombies raising a derelict ship from the sea floor in the name of their ruthless and tyrannical zombie elf queen?

   That was rhetorical.

Pinkie Pie beat Thunderfury in a knife fight

Dear Princess Celestia, After an immense amount of grinding (Though I'm sure it pales in comparison to grinding it at Vanilla level WoW) and help from many, many friends (<3 Emm, Mook, and Ebon specifically) I completed the forging of Sulfuras, the Hand of Ragnaros.

"But Confluttershy," I hear you ask, "That hammer hasn't mattered for ages!"  There's also a few of you screaming that it didn't even matter back then, and even a third camp congratulating me on a shiny new hammer to wear around town and smash squirrels with.  Well, hold on, I'm going somewhere with this.  Maybe.

The Treatise: Cathedral Fountain, Northwest Bench

Today's work brought me to a bench which we shall refer to as 'subject A1'

A1 was made of cheap Westfall Granite, probably harvested from rocks dislodged in the Cataclysm.  Typical of a race too lazy to grow a beard properly, can't even come to grips with better stone coming from deeper under the surface.

Typical, just typical.

Guards tried to arrest a Dwarf for no reason in particular.  Whole bloody system is corrupt nowadays, I'll have to find out who to report that to, when I'm not busy laying on this.  It's really quite terrible stonework, a baby Dwarf could have done better if it was born without hands or a beard.  In the dark.

Had a discussion with some woman named Liotuse, sitting on the Northern bench.  Said she was a man, but I  do not call that mess of whiskers manly, especially after he went on about corsets and matching outfits so long.  Fruitier than Rhapsody fresh from the tap, if you ask me.

Still not as bad as this bench.

I hurled my chicken at her, that'll learn her.

Wherein I Divert From What I Posted a Few Hours Ago

While this has nothing at all to do with Warcraft, as a game or setting, it is still pretty nifty.

What this is, What this is not, and Why I am not allowed on the internet

My fellow Internetians, let's have a chat about anything and everything that is not the great American pass-time known as baseball.  I am someone who has played World of Warcraft for quite some time, and the past several years of this have been spent on the RP-based realm Wyrmrest Accord.  During this time, there was a website called Wranet, that held forums and user-created blogs for their in-game characters, meant to be primarily in-character.  Several months in, the project died when the admin lost a mighty battle against things beyond the comos, sacrificing themselves that we may live another day.  Sadly, the website itself was caught in the crossfire, and nothing remains but smoke and ash to this day.
